Had full use made of his stamina on debut but undone by his penalty and a flag start next time. This looks less competitive, although giving weight to the Gosden pair will be no easy matter.

Bee Magic15

Yet to beat a rival in either start and faces another stern examination in this company. Has plenty to find with San Rafael on debut form.

Too keen on debut when conditions took their toll. Well backed that day and should show more here. The stable's juveniles have been running well of late.

Green on debut and missed the break from a flag start. Made late gains and has just over a length to find with San Rafael. Hails from a good family and any market positivity would make him one to fear.

Redoute's Choice colt out of a useful Canadian mare from a good family. Holds a 2000 Guineas entry but yard just 3-31 with their youngsters in this country.

Expensive purchase shaped better on AW debut last week but still has a lot to find in order to compete with some of these.

Stepped up last time after an uninspiring debut. Yard are just 1-16 with their juveniles this year and interesting that Jim Crowley prefers Thebian.

Makes less appeal than many of these judged on his pedigree and his debut effort does little to suggest he can be a contender.

Plenty of winners in his pedigree but he has only exhibited minor promise thus far. Should be more competitive when qualified for handicaps.

£230,000 Kingman colt out of an unraced half-sister to prolific winner Point North. Yard 3-7 with their juveniles here this term and rider has chosen this one in preference to the more experienced Huwaiteb. Wide draw is not ideal.

Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: R Havlin| T: J & T Gosden

Well-bred filly did well to finish as close as she did on debut given how hard she pulled. That form has worked out nicely and she rates the one to beat from a handy draw.

Forecasts

Bullfinch (9/4), Choice Of Mine (5/2), Reehaam (5/1), Thebian (7/1), Huwaiteb (8/1), San Rafael (11/1), Cedar Cage (25/1), Sweet Reward (40/1), Gibraltar (50/1), Bee Magic (80/1), Monsaraz (100/1)

16:25 Chelmsford City - 7 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The market ought to be informative with Joseph O'Brien sending over 2000 Guineas entrant Choice Of Mine and John Gosden saddling two youngsters by super sire Kingman. Thebian has fared less well in the draw than REEHAM and the filly has the benefit of previous experience having finished fourth in a strong event at Ascot. That swings the vote in her favour, whilst San Rafael, Cedar Cage and Bullfinch would have to enter calculations if attracting strong supprt.
  1. Reehaam
  2. Thebian
  3. San Rafael
