Won a Listed race in Sweden in September, and ran to a similar level when third of 13 to Dr Simpson in Group 3 Mercury Stakes at Dundalk last time. Still 8lb above his last winning handicap mark, and arguably better in minor pattern company.

Smart performer at his peak, but getting into veteran territory now, and just the one solid effort this year. Looks opposable for all he's taken a tumble in the weights.

Ran poorly last time, but that came on the back of an ambitious trip to South Korea, and he can be expected to bounce back to the smart form he was showing in the summer. Claims if doing so.

Progressive this year, and bounced back from a rare blip at Goodwood when winning an optional claiming event on all-weather debut at Newcastle last time, beating Warsaw Road. Leading claims having gone up 4lb for that.

Losing run now stretches to 17 since winning a valuable handicap at the Curragh last summer. Plenty of creditable efforts in the meantime, and not beaten far last time, but isn't the easiest to catch right at present.

Thriving since winning back-to-back handicaps at Windsor in July/August, and has made the frame in the Portland at Doncaster and the Ayr Silver Cup on her last two starts. Second on sole start here, and shortlisted again.

Well held in four starts since finishing runner-up in a 5f handicap at Windsor at the end of June. Better than the bare result at Wolverhampton last time, and has slipped to a fair mark, but needs to dig in.

Won at Bath in June, and back to his best when ½L second of 11 to Soldier's Minute over C&D last time. Can go close with a repeat, and one to bear in mind.

Running consistently well without winning on turf and AW, but does her racing in lower class races, and seems to face a stiff task from out of the weights.

Show Stealer has been placed in two ultra-competitive handicaps since gaining back-to-back wins at Windsor in the summer, and is sure to go well again, while BURIDAN just got the better of Warsaw Road in a solid contest at Newcastle last time. The former getting the nod to confirm that as Warsaw Road my just bounce given that was his first run in exactly a year. Recent C&D second Beyond Equal completes the shortlist.
