On a losing streak of 25 now, good third at this track two starts ago before poor effort over C&D two days ago. Tough ask from his position in the handicap.

Course winner but sixteen runs since his last win in 2018. Caught for pace and was never on terms when seventh in 1m3f handicap here last time. Needs to put that effort behind him.

Thrice-raced maiden but outran his 50/1 odds when fourth of 11 at Wolverhampton just under two weeks ago. May be an improver in handicap company so one to be considered.

Promising despite not winning yet and arguably ran to same level of Newbury second when fifth in 1m4f Wolverhampton handicap earlier this month. Off the same mark for this so there maybe more to come.

Was starting to move in the right direction but still caused a surprise when winning C&D handicap in fine style on latest start. 6lb higher for that effort and this looks stronger so more needed once again.

Has four wins at this track next to his name already but hasn't been able to thrive off revised mark recently, including tailed off seventh in Wolverhampton handicap (1m6f) last time. Of interest when down in the weights.

Starting to get the hang of things with a couple of runner-up finishes, including career-best second at Wolverhampton (1m4f) just under two weeks ago. Each-way claims.

Forecasts

Philonikia (11/4), Ned Pepper (3/1), Noble Gift (5/1), Fields Of Dreams (5/1), Sweet Celebration (7/1), Minnelli (7/1), Sadlers Beach (8/1), Wimpole Hall (10/1), Galactic Spirit (12/1), Rail Dancer (33/1)

20:10 Kempton - 30 October 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A weak-looking handicap to end proceedings which may see NED PEPPER return to winning ways. He wasn't disgraced last time out after failing to get on terms early on and if he can put the right in this contest then his current mark remaining as it is could look dangerous. Fields of Dreams is unexposed at this level and has been outrunning his odds recently so cannot be ignored, while Sweet Celebration and Philonikia look to be getting the hang of things but even this looks like a stronger race than they contested last time.
  1. Ned Pepper
  2. Fields Of Dreams
  3. Sweet Celebration
