Rated 68 on the Flat, won a Lingfield auction race (12f) back in March and should find this a suitable test on hurdles debut; one of the more interesting ones.
Yet to hit the frame in 10 starts on the Flat and rated just 45; were it not for in-form trainer and jockey combination you'd not look twice, but hard to fancy all the same.
Already looking regressive after just a handful of starts on the Flat, although it was a better effort at Beverley in a weak race last time; hurdles debut today, and needs a lot more than that to be competitive.
Has some hurdling experience already, which should stand her in good stead here, and has hit the frame on both occasions; needs to settle better and finish her race off, and this track may suit to that extent; not discounted.
Winner over 11f at Lingfield in Septmeber, rated 80 off the back of that and ran near to that form wen last seen; yard do well over hurdles with these types and she looks one of the main players if jumping fluently.
Showed no more than a glimmer of ability in four starts on the Flat but is made for hurdling and is the sort to do better now she's got some obstacles in the way; could go well at a likely big price.
Wasn't up to much on the Flat, rated just 45 and highlight coming when placed at Southwell in a nursery last December; has some size about her, so could conceivably do better on first start for new yard, but needs to.
Winner on the Flat from a mark of 57 back in June, and has been placed twice off higher; has scope, and the sort to take to hurdles, so not discounted despite the fact she's a bit to find on bare form.
Forecasts
Midnights' Gift (6/5), Whistler Bowl (7/2), Break The Rules (4/1), Local Affair (6/1), Peripherique (12/1), Juals Spirit (20/1), Kalaya (33/1), Silk Island (50/1), Jazzy Card (100/1)
MIDNIGHTS GIFT was the best of these on the Flat and if she can translate that ability to hurdles, she looks the one to beat. These conditions look ideal and she can score at the first time of asking. Whistler Bowl and Break The Rules both look like they could take to the hurdling game but for those wanting something at a likely bigger price, Peripherique could give you an each-way run for your money.
