Holding his form well despite a busy campaign, and good efforts when runner-up on his last two starts at Wolverhampton and Newcastle. Shortlisted again.
Two wins form seven runs this year, with the latest coming at Nottingham in May. Not disgraced in a pair of 5f turf handicaps last month, and this represents a drop in class from his most recent start. Ran well here on racecourse bow.
Won at Bath in May, and this veteran was back in fair form when 1¼L fifth of 9 to Harry Hurricane at Windsor last month. Wears a refitted hood and first-time tongue tie on debut for new yard having left Ken Cunningham-Brown.
Back to form when a good third of 18 at Doncaster on penultimate outing, but disappointing he couldn't build on that last time. Perhaps the return to AW will suit, and well drawn if he's on his game.
Consistent sort who got his head in front at favoured Bath last month, and had excuses for a modest effort at Wolverhampton last time when slowly into stride. Would benefit from a strong pace.
Best effort this term when winning at Brighton on penultimate start, and has been running creditably on the whole. Probably in the handicapper's grip from current mark, though, and others may have his measure.
Dual winner with cut in the ground, and several pieces of form from earlier this season would give him claims. Hinted at a revival when keeping on late at Nottingham last time, but needs to build markedly on that here.
Sole win came in Lingfield novice as a 2-y-o, but has taken form to a new level since wind surgery. Narrowly denied in competitive 5f handicap at Goodwood in August, and excuses after a break at Ascot last time. Blinkers on for this drop in class.
Won at Brighton in August and raised his game to score again at Sandown last month. Off nearly six weeks since, and up in class, though, so needs another career best from a wide draw.
Below form since winning at Bath in May, and ran badly over 6f here last time, although that came after a break and she did far too much in helping force the pace over 6f. Better expected with champion jockey booked.

Foxy Forever is at the top of his game and should go well from a fair draw, while Benny And The Jets is down in class after a couple of respectable efforts and has run well here, but a chance is taken on MERCENARY ROSE, who is also facing an easier task than last time, and represents a yard which utilises blinkers with great success.
