Gelding by Frozen Power out of a Alzao mare. Half-brother to a number of winners including Miss Poppets, victorious over 6f. One of the more intriguing contenders.
Red Jazz gelding out of a Elnadim mare. €24,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to winner up to 1¼m Potaro. Needs to improve of a couple of dismal efforts since his debut in August.
Running well in a number of starts over the summer and posted a career best effort at the Curragh over 1m earlier this month on soft ground. Open to progress and he must enter calculations here.
Daughter of Mastercraftsman out of a Galileo mare. Half-sister to 1m2f winner, Hunting Horn. No match for the likes of The Tooth Fairy and Lovee Dovee on his first two career starts but still up against it here.
By War Front out of a Montjeu mare. Five-race maiden without a win in four starts on turf but improving with every start since her third run at the Curragh last month. Sets a high bar looking at the card.
Daughter of Australia out of a Excellent Art mare. French import, well held on Irish debut earlier this month. Handicaps likely to suit in future.
Forecasts
Vocatus (11/10), Magic Fountain (2/1), Rosy Life (7/1), Future Romance (11/1), Michael Hennery (14/1), Joe Power (20/1), Hopestown (100/1)
The Aidan O'Brien-trained MAGIC FOUNTAIN wouldn't have to improve on her starts at Thrles and Dundalk this month to get off the mark at this sixth attempt. The daughter of War Front can see off the attentions of the Jim Bolger-trained Vocatus who appears an improving sort on the balance of her recent starts at Thurles and the Curragh. The Gordon Elliott-trained Joe Power looks an interesting prospect.
