Off the mark at the fourth attempt when winning at Brighton (7f, good to firm) two starts ago. Contested a better race under a penalty at Newcastle (7f, Tapeta) but was too keen and weakened late on. Not ruled out if settling better.

Improved on his moderate debut to finish fifth of 16 at Brighton (7f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Still well beaten that day and will need another big step forward to challenge for a place.

Cost 28,000 gns as a foal. Dam 5f juvenile winner. Half-brother to winners to two winners in Europe (Spain/Italy); both as two-year-olds. Yard do have first time out winners but have just a 3.8% strike-rate with youngsters this year.

Showed some ability when fourth of ten at Wolverhampton (7f, Tapeta) on second start but form has regressed since in three outings. Only beat two home here in Nursery company (1m2f) last time and hard to be enthusiastic about his claims.

Improved with each of his first three runs, culminating in a good second over C&D two runs back. Easy to forgive his run at Yarmouth (7f, heavy) given the ground and him being hampered two furlongs out. One for the shortlist back here.

Finished last, beaten 34L and 21L in two starts at Kempton in recent weeks and hard to envisage anything other than a similar outcome here given that evidence.

Mid-division finishes in both starts thus far here (6f, Polytrack) and at Windsor (5f, good to soft) but off the track for 131 days since. Breeding doesn't suggest this longer trip will suit and may well be one for handicaps down the line.

Narrowly touched off at Kempton (7f, Polytrack) in similar races on his last two runs, and was possibly unlucky not to win the first of those. Sets the form standard on that form and, with conditions to suit, will be difficult to beat.

Well-beaten in his two races to date at Ascot (6f, good to firm) and Wolverhampton (6f, Tapeta). Connections reach for headgear but even that is unlikely to bring about sufficient improvement to get involved.

First foal; her dam won over 6f for this yard at Wolverhampton and is from the wider family of 1,000 Guineas winner Cape Verdi. Yard aren't prolific with their juveniles and she come into her own once handicapping.

Tailed off on debut at Salisbury (7f, soft) and was are only marginally better at Wolverhampton (7f, Tapeta) 12 days ago. Would be a surprise winner of this on that form and is another who qualifies for handicaps after this.

With not a lot of solid form in the book, it's hard to LYRICIST VOICE not taking advantage of seems to be a good opportunity after his two narrow defeats at Kempton. Freshwater Cliffs wasn't given a hard time on heavy ground recently after being impeded and could be the biggest danger based on his C&D second two runs back whilst Never In Red has shown enough to make the frame is settling better than he did at Newcastle, when pulling his chance away last time.
