Not the force of old and seeking a first win since 2017. Ran close over this C&D in September but disappointing twice since and proving unpredictable these days.

Won a novice over 1m2f on debut and followed that with a solid run of five close efforts. Disappointing the last twice but they were in much stronger company and he could bounce back.

Just 1lb higher than last of five turf wins and yet to win from five starts on the AW. Makes course debut and continues to pound out consistent performances. Down in grade and could be dangerous.

Has reserved his best form for Musselburgh and Newcastle (AW) so far. However finished tailed off at the latter track last start which followed a previous below par effort. Others preferred.

Made his breakthrough in novice company and upped his game further when twice third in this grade in handicap company. Struggled when upped in class latest but not out of it if bouncing back.

No surprise to see her struggle in Listed company in June but returned from a break with a career best when a narrow second at Kempton this month. Lightly raced and sole win came over this C&D, so could progress again.

Won well in a good time over 7f at Kempton (AW) before not being disgraced on soft ground at York latest. A chance on the face of it but concern he ran poorly on his sole previous visit here.

Progressed on his sole run in France with two good runs for new yard including a maiden win latest. She would need more off this opening mark on handicap debut but that's quite possible after winning in good style.

Progressive performer in just seven starts, following back-to-back wins with improved close-up efforts the last twice. Makes course debut and his latest run suggested a return to this trip is ideal. Has more to offer.

Hasn't progressed from his early performances and he has had a tendency of late to pull too hard which costs him late on. Still early days but others look stronger candidates.

Both wins have come over 7f here and on the same mark as the last of them. His last three runs have been poor and chance revolves around a switch to the AW revitalising him.

Returned to the promise of his debut second when winning on handicap debut at Ayr. He has more to do off a 6lb higher AW mark and up in class but he's with a trainer who gain sharp improvement with each run.

Twice a winner at this track early on and just 1lb higher. Left two poor runs behind with a switch back to this track latest and it's clearly his preferred surface. Capable of being involved again.

Windsor novice winner in June didn't look suited by 1m2f here two starts back or heavy ground latest. First time visor will still need to extract some improvement off this current mark.

19:30 Chelmsford City - 24 October 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There's lots of chances in an open contest involving some improving three-year-olds. Freerolling had previously been a consistent performer and perhaps this is his grade for now and the drop in class can see a quick return to form. Arigato is also proving reliable and likewise the drop in class could help him break his AW duck. Yusra is another to consider but preference is for DARGEL who returns to his ideal distance and is progressing at a pleasing rate.
