Has a poor strike rate over fences (1-24), though placed plenty of times. Trip looks a bit shorter than ideal and he needs to improve on what we have seen from him lately.
Beaten just once in five chases. Returns from summer break up just 2lb for facile success when last seen in April; acts on soft, although might ideally want good ground, but has claims.
Has won twice at up to 3m3½f on good to soft/good ground. 5lb higher than the more recent of those, and despite the fact that he can go well fresh, he may just be in the grip of the handicapper.
10-time chase winning veteran who stays 3m4½f and acts on soft. Should find things happening a bit to quickly for him over this trip and from 5lb 'wrong'.
Waikiki Waves has an impressive record over fences so far, but if there is a chink it may be that he wants faster ground than this. He also has fitness to prove after a break, which is not the case with REALLYRADICAL, who ran well last time and is the suggestion, with race fitness on his side. Exxaro looks next best.
