Five-race maiden, well held and never nearer on each occasion. Beaten over 13L and 11L on her last couple of starts in May and June and hard to fancy on overall evidence.

Experienced handicapper but has a miserly return of one win from 34 Flat starts on turf. Well held when finishing a non-threatening 11th of 16 beaten 18L over 1m at Navan earlier this month and hard to make a case for in current form.

Nine-race maiden, well held on four starts over hurdles and in five dismal efforts on the Flat including on handicap debut at Gowran Park earlier this month. Difficult to see where improvement is coming from.

Nothing of note on three career starts so far including a couple of starts for current connections, disappointing over 1m at Listowel and more recently at this track last month. Will need to improve significantly on handicap debut.

Winner of five of her 35 starts on turf with a number of solid and consistent starts over the summer running over 5f. Disappointed last time at Navan but not to be taken lightly running off her current mark.

13-race maiden. Makes little appeal based on what the Sir Prancealot gelding has shown for connections so far and not in the form required to play a part in the finish here.

Off the mark at the seventh time of asking when landing a Chepstow 1m handicap in August 2018 when in the care of trainer Karl Burke. Failed to beat any of her 31 rivals home in a couple of starts for new connections. Others preferred.

Eight-race maiden, career best effort coming on the AW at Dundalk in April. Well held and never nearer in three handicap starts on turf since May and may find this a tough assignment.

Followed up a number of solid and consistent efforts over the summer when finishing third of 14 beaten 1½L at Listowel last month not beaten far in a couple of starts since and more than capable of a bold bid here.

Experienced handicapper, winner of four of his 57 career starts on turf. Not disgraced in a number of starts recently and could be of some danger running 4lb lower than last winning mark.

Regressive 55-rated handicapper earlier in the summer for trainer Eve Johnson-Houghton. Always mid-division and no impression over 1f on stable debut on the AW at Dundalk last month. Looks a tall order on overall form.

15-race maiden, still looking for her breakthrough success in 14 starts on turf. Has been running well in defeat in a number of starts since returning to action last month including running Scorpion Black to a neck at Gowran Park earlier this month.

Tough and genuine handicapper winner of three of his 65 Flat starts on turf. Well held in a couple of starts earlier this month, not the most reliable of sorts these days and others hold stronger claims.

12-race maiden without a success in 11 starts on turf. Carrer best efforts have come over this trip, both at Gowran Park with give in the ground. Another big run in these conditions would not surprise.

Nine-race maiden yet to hit the frame in seven turf starts, well beaten over a variety of trips since returning to action in April. Unlikely to be playing a significant role in the finish here.

Sole success came over a similar trip at Tipperary on soft ground in May last year. Not discredited in a number of starts over the summer when running well in defeat including a 2¾L defeat at Cork earlier in the month. Negative draw.

Has been very busy this year but the 13-race maiden on turf has yet to be able to land her first victory. Well held on her last three starts over a variety of trips since last month and plenty to find here.

16:55 Curragh - 22 October 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The Denis Hogan yard are in a decent run of form currently and their Dandy Man gelding, ADAPT TO DAN can add to their tally of winners in the finale' under jockey Joe Doyle. The three-year-old is better than his current mark suggests and can get off the mark at the 14th time of asking for connections in the closing contest. Treasure Vale for the Andrew Slattery yard has been running well in defeat in the conditions and can emerge as the biggest danger with Count Of Carabass and Piper Bomb liable to give a good account of themselves on the ground.
  1. Adapt To Dan
  2. Treasure Vale
  3. Piper Bomb
