Performed well when beaten ½L in a handicap chase over an extended 1m7f at Southwell (soft) on her return from a break earlier this month. Was a C&D winner here in June and is a notable runner despite a 5lb rise in the weights.
Well beaten last of sixth over C&D on good-to-soft ground on seasonal and chase debut earlier this month. Likely to have improved for the run and better is expected on this occasion.
Struggled in three starts since joining this stable most recently when 22L seventh at Exeter (2m3f, good-to-soft) in April. Very well handicapped on old form but probably best watched on seasonal reappearance.
17 race maiden finished runner-up twice in the spring including when 9L second in first time blinkers (replaced with usual cheekpieces here) over 2m1f at Plumpton (good) in April. Worth a check in the market on seasonal debut.
Followed up a 9L victory over Champion Chase at Plumpton (2m1f, good) in April with a 16L second in a small field contest over the same C&D later that month. Interesting on seasonal debut off a mark 7lb higher than for that Plumpton triumph.
20 race maiden failed to build on a 19½L third over an extended 2m3f here on stable debut when pulled up at Newton Abbot (2m5f, good-to-soft) last time out. Probably best watched on return from a short break.
17 race maiden was beaten 25L when fourth over an extended 2m at Worcester (good) at the end of August. Races from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Champion Chase (5/2), Hurricane Rita (7/2), Golander (5/1), St Merryn (11/2), Brother Bennett (6/1), Strictlyadancer (7/1), Full Shift (16/1)
HURRICANE RITA registered a C&D victory here earlier this year and she can go one better than when finishing runner-up on her most recent start. The top weight can see off Brother Bennett who was in good form last season while third place can go to Champion Chase who has finished runner-up on his last two outings and is making his seasonal debut.
