Rated 65 when winning a Gowran Park handicap back in June, two starts over hurdles have seen him finish placed and then unseat (not his fault) at Ludlow last week; chances in a weak event.
Showed a little ability on the Flat, but better effort when second on hurdles debut at Perth last month, staying on well for second; repeat of that gives him every chance, and less testing ground here might suit too.
Only low-grade on the Flat and showed just a modicum of promise on hurdles debut at Ludlow earlier in the month, finishing midfield; needs a lot more here.
Nice enough pedigree but well down the field on only start in a Huntingdon bumper and needs huge improvement on that today.
Forecasts
Olympic Honour (8/11), Pop The Cork (11/8), Delta Bravo (16/1), Gaia Vallis (25/1), Willett (33/1)
Not a lot to go on here, and it looks a good opportunity for POP THE CORK, a good second on hurdles debut at Perth and faces no more difficult a task here. Olympic Honour looks the obvious danger, and of the rest, maybe Willett can grab third.
