Showed promise in two bumpers separated by a break of three months finishing second and then a close fourth after a positive ride. Closely related to useful hurdler One For The Guv'nr; could be more to come on hurdles debut.

10L winner of an Irish point-to-point on his second start (fell on debut) he was well backed on his bumper/Rules debut (tongue-tie on). Not seen to best effect (raced well off pace), weakened into third; interesting on hurdles debut.
Winner on his second point-to-point start at Tabley before running poorly on his Rules debut in a Bangor maiden earlier this month; finished tailed off (reported to have had a breathing problem). Others make more appeal.
Cost £30,000 after winning a maiden point-to-point in April having already shown that he had ability with a close second in a point-to-point bumper. Joined a yard who should make the most of this type; market support should be noted.

Showed promise when making his debut in an Ayr bumper in May (shaped better than the bare result). Failed to match that debut form when next seen at Perth (may have found the race coming too soon); now makes hurdles debut.

Useful Flat sort (seven-time winner) who returns to hurdles having finished well held on his only previous try in this sphere (jumped left). May do better this time around; half-brother to 4 winners, including fair hurdlers Bollin Judith and Two B's.
Given a very considerate introduction when finishing third at Uttoxeter (2m, good) earlier in the year, catching the eye in every way. Sure to come on for that experience back in May; could need further, betting to provide further clues.

Gradual progress came to fruition on his third start when looking every inch a stayer to take a Chepstow bumper. Flattered by midfield finish when 100-1 chance in Champion Bumper; yard do well here though, much respected on hurdles debut.

Landed a touch on his debut when winning a small-field Market Rasen bumper having already had a wind op looking as though there was more to come. Now wears a tongue-tie for his hurdles debut; worthy of noting if strong in the market.

Bought for £25,000 after finishing second on final point-to-point start (fell on debut). First try under Rules but from a yard that have produced some nice winners of this type and it won't be a surprise to see him involved.

Maybe not as strong as the first division of this novice hurdle but there are still some sorts that interest not last the Champion Bumper seventh SOME DETAIL from a yard that have a very competitive record at the track. Piggy Winkle is a fascinating contender on the basis on his Uttoxeter debut although the betting may be the best barometer of his expectations while point-to-point winner Bourbon Borderline and Flamboyant Joyaux should also be able to make their mark. Bumper winner Tango Boy can’t be ignored although the appearance of a tongue-tie on one who has already had a wind op is slightly worrying.
