Won well over 6f here at the start of the month, and while he wasn't in the same form at York last time, the return to this venue gives him a chance, and heavy ground negates concerns about the trip.
Three wins this year include one over C&D in May. Out of sorts since the summer, but hinted at a revival when seventh of 17 to Fantasy Keeper here last time. Could surprise.
Won off 1lb higher mark at Windsor (6f, good) back in May but disappointing in five subsequent efforts, and really should have done better at Ascot last time in a race he's won twice before.
Won on soft ground at Thirsk (5f) in August, but he has twice been well beaten on heavy ground, and could do without the forecast showers materialising.
High class a juvenile, and has won two of his last four from reduced marks, impressing at Musselburgh last month. Disappointing behind Fantasy Keeper last time, but return to 5f could be a big factor now, and he won on heavy at Carlisle in May.
Needed drop to selling company to win at Lingfield in June, and disappointed at Chelmsford last time after a series of creditable efforts. Off ten weeks since, and makes only limited appeal.
Dual winner with cut in the ground, and several pieces of form from earlier this season would give him claims from this mark, if cheekpieces help him bounce back after disappointing in heavy ground at Goodwood.
Has won both starts at this track, and had a bit in hand when landing a C&D handicap here two weeks ago. Up 5lb for that, but should give another solid account.
Neither as good nor as reliable as she once was, and although she offered a bit of hope at Goodwood two starts back, she flopped badly at Ascot last time, and can't be backed with any confidence.
Won by a wide margin at Pontfract in September and good second at Wolverhampton. Up another 4lb in the weights since, so needs to be at his very best.
Made all when justifying favouritism in a 6f Ripon maiden (soft) in June; hasn't quite been able to repeat those tactics in handicap company since, however, and has lots of competition for the lead here.
Running respectably at present, but handicapper in charge, and she can't be fancied from out of the weights in this competitive affair.

Lots of early speed on show here , and a chance is taken on AFANDEM getting back to form at this trip having failed to see it out over further behind Fantasy Keeper last time. The latter would prefer 6f, but the ground and strong pace should bring him into it, while Wrenthorpe, unbeaten at this track, is the pick of the front-runners.
