First start for new yard, formerly trained in Ireland with Joseph O'Brien and on the plus side, already has a chase win to his name; however, this mark looks plenty high enough and he might not want a lot more rain either.

Looked potentially classy when taking a couple of novice hurdles back in 2016, had problems since though and not seen since March of last year; potentially thrown in off this mark on chasing debut and despite absence, has to be considered.

Did well last year, winning a novice hurdle at Doncaster over this trip and placed numerous other times; bred to make a good chaser and no issue if the ground gets a bit softer either, so if fit after absence, looks a big player.

Twice got her head in front over hurdles but was disqualified on the latter of her wins (rider weighed in light); has the scope for fences this term and with a top yard, won't mind any further rain, and is one for the shortlist.

Twice a winner over hurdles last year, although didn't look to have a lot in hand when winning off 5lb lower at Uttoxeter and was disappointing on final start; should make a chaser but starts off this year with a couple of question marks.

Won a 3m handicap hurdle at Ludlow off a 7lb lower mark last year, most disappointing when made a hot favourite at Worcester on chase debut last time, a bad mistake late on not helping; clear round may see him get closer, but a little to prove now.

Winner here last season when taking a 2m hurdle with a bit in hand, still looking green; behind Renwick at Uttoxeter on final start but was doing some good late work, and has the scope to be a chaser; chance not dismissed.

Rebel Royal162

Placed in a couple of novice hurdles last year but went backwards after that and looked regressive; possible that catching him fresh is the key, and has the size for chasing, so not totally dismissed, but others make stronger cases.

Caused a bit of a surprise when winning a Uttoxeter novice hurdle last June, but showed it was no fluke when running better again at Southwell on final start; has a point-to-point win to his name, and could easily have a say in the finish here.

Progressive at a low level last year, winning a couple of small handicaps at Southwell and Market Rasen, but did run well below that form afterwards; will need more to defeat some potentially smart sorts on chase debut today.

Bad Boy Du Pouldut568
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-13| J: Joshua Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR:  107

Has plenty of chase experience under his belt already, placed in a couple of chase starts at a decent level but not seen out since March of 2018 and although the handicapper has given him a chance if fit, others make a bit more appeal.

Vue Cavaliereh159
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: M G Nolan| T: Miss S Smith| OR:  107
50/1
Has shown some ability in four starts for this yard, tried to make all at Worcester on final start but run out of it late; connections wasting little time in getting her over a fence and not inconceivable she could do better again this year.

Real Warrior14
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-6| J: C J Todd(7)| T: C T Pogson| OR:  100

Gave the classy Le Breuil a scare in a match here last year but never recaptured that form afterwards, although has run a lot better last two starts; might be better off in an easier race but could give a good account over fences he jumped for fun.

15:15 Huntingdon - 15 October 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Another very interesting little contest, and there should be plenty of winners from it. Cases can be made for plenty, not least Definitelyanoscar and Manning Estate, both of whom have the pedigree to make good chasers. Lively Article may come from an unfashionable stable but looks very useful and his chance here should not be underestimated, but a chance is taken on CHARLEMAR, who hasn't seen a racecourse for some while but looked very much like the sky was the limit three years ago but has had issues. Connections surely wouldn't be bothering bringing him back unless they thought something was to be gained, and fresh might be the time to catch him.
