Soft-ground win at Uttoxeter over 2m4f in January his first since reverting back to hurdling. Doesn't have big miles on the clock for his age but stiff enough ask conceding a stone and more to these rivals.

Sent off favourite for Persian War Novices' Hurdle at this meeting a year ago, falling early on, before winning 2m5f good-ground Cheltenham Grade 2 in November. Stalled progress afterwards. Capable of going well fresh.

Won 3-5 over timber last term, including at Newbury in Class 2 handicap off 131 when last spotted in March. There should be more to come this season and market likely good guide to expectations on return.

Maiden/novice hurdle winner in January from three outings after joining this top yard, given time off since and clearly should have more to come for champion trainer this season.

Heavy-ground winner at Ffos Las (2m) in November last on hurdles bow, disappointed next time at Exeter but good effort at Newbury in February (2m4½f, good to soft) when second. Leaves behind novice company now.

2-2 in novice hurdles last season, though form of his Newcastle success (2m4½f, good to soft) in February took a couple of knocks afterwards. Needs to step up on return but should be capable of plenty more.

Useful novice form last term with two wins in six attempts, at home on good/soft going and former point-to-point winner looks sure to appreciate increased focus on stamina now returning for in-form yard.

Four-race maiden hurdler, came closes over 2m (heavy) at Sandown in February before being pulled up in the Supreme at Cheltenham. No shock to find him improved this season and trainer/jockey combe much-respected.

Down the field in this last year from 3lb higher mark and mixed back of efforts thereafter over fencing, winning 1-6. This trip unlikely to prove sufficient stamina test.

The Silver Trophy is typically wide open and it could pay to give a chance to the returning THE KNOT IS TIED. Neil King's charge gained a deserved hurdles win at Newbury in March when stepped up to this sort of trip, form that has been nicely boosted since by the runner-up, and has potential for better now. Didtheyleaveuoutto didn't appear to get home at Galway last time and may bounce back over this more suitable journey, with Indefatigable another entering open company with potential for better things along with Coolanly (goes well fresh), Flash The Steel and Greaneteen.
