Left his debut form well behind on the AW (Tapeta) last time over an extended 1m leaving the impression that he may do better still. This will be his first try on ground such as this (dam won soft); gains a mark after this for handicaps.

Rare 2yo runner from this yard but wasn't a cheap purchase (50,000 guineas 2yo); half-brother to several winners, including 2yo 6f-1m winner Amourette and 1m4f winner Ciboure. Interesting pedigree and any market interest should be noted.
Has the best form of those to have run so far having finished fourth on his debut at Leicester (7f, good/firm). Has plenty of scope for progress now that he steps up in trip. Like most he needs to prove he can handle these conditions.
€12,000 yearling by Tin Horse; half-brother to a winner at up to 1m1f, dam French maiden half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Night Chapter. Yard 5-39 with 2yo newcomers this year, worth a glance in the market.

Too inexperienced to do himself justice on his Sandown debut he showed a lot more on his Fibresand debut despite still not looking the finished article. Now steps up a furlong back on turf (bred to stay); has to be respected with his experience.
Newcomer (holds a Derby entry); €27,000 yearling, half-brother to 3 winners, including winner up to 1m Mocklershill and 6f (including at 2yo) winner Vintage Red. First 2yo runner for the yard, watching brief advised.
One of two runners for the yard (not known for their 2yo winners); cheekpieces applied for her debut. Half-sister to 2-y-o 6f winner Bournemouth Belle, dam, 1m2f winner, half-sister to winner up to 9f Uncharted Haven.
Very green on her debut although she did manage to make a spot of late progress in a 7f Goodwood maiden in August. That run showed that she should do better at some stage; withdrawn on heavy ground at Nottingham last week, long-term prospect.
Yard have a 14% strike-rate with 2yo newcomers since 2015; half-sister to several winners, including useful 2yo 7f winner Savanna La Mar and smart 2yo 6f winner So In Love; looks an interesting candidate, one to keep in mind.

Always difficult events to unravel given the fact that we have plenty of newcomers and the ground is likely to be too testing for many of these. Of those that have run Bottom Bay sets the standard and looks the sort who will be suited by this stamina test. Similarly Tinnahalla could put his experience to good use although he does looks a slightly longer-term prospect. Godolphin have a good record with newcomers this year and their Back From Dubai needs a market check with other debutants like Spring To Mind and Mr Rusty also in the mix. Ultimately its another newcomer ARIJ who appeals the most with his pedigree looking attractive as does the yard’s record with newcomers.
