Recent Brighton winner (6f, good to firm); ran an excellent race when finishing just under 3L fifth of 12 to Chil Chil in a Class 2 Newmarket fillies' handicap last week; surely a major player at this level (same mark) despite a wide draw.
Strongest at Epsom, prominent until headed deep inside the final furlong when finishing fourth of nine to Cent Flying there (6f, good) three weeks ago; a record of a mere 1-27 on the AW is clearly off-putting.
Flattered to a degree by his 5f Pontefract win in July (blinkered for first time) when his only serious rival reared in the stalls; modest in both subsequent starts; 1-3 on the AW (hasn't run at Chelmsford previously).
March C&D winner; now sits 2lb lower than when winning at Windsor (6f, good) in May; met trouble in-running when finishing sixth over C&D on return to action last week; second run as a gelding.
Four-time C&D winner (1lb above his last winning mark); continues to run well despite slowly inching up the weights; met trouble in-running when fourth over C&D last week; should be positively involved.
Well-handicapped March C&D winner (beat Spenny's Lass by a head); right back to his peak form when a closing 1½L third (3-1f) to Amor Kethley (Sir Hector second) in a Class 6 C&D handicap 12 days ago; faces a sterner test (Class 5).
Has raced for Amy Murphy and Nick Littmoden since winning a 5f Yarmouth novice for Chris Dwyer in June 2018; fourth of six on debut for Stuart Williams (also saddles Lethal Angel) at Yarmouth (6f, good) latest; tongue-tie now applied.
Strictly speaking is closely matched with the re-opposing Gottardo on recent Class 6 C&D form. However, given his inconsistent profile (1-18) you wouldn't be prepared to bank on him running to that form; Luke Morris is a positive booking.
Kept busy on the AW last winter, including when runner-up over C&D (Class 6) in November 2018 (off an 8lb higher mark); fitness is taken solely on trust on return from a 211-day absence; others preferred for the moment.
No win since January 2016 (when trained by the master of Kingsley House Mark Johnston); easing in the weights, and was placed following his traditional tardy start at Wolverhampton (6f) in August; met trouble in a rough race here last week.

Desert Fox (fourth), Real Estate (sixth) and Kingsley Klarion (eighth) all met trouble in-running in a messy race over C&D last week, and any of that trio could take the necessary step forward granted a clearer passage tonight, while the well-handicapped Gottardo and the rather inconsistent Sir Hector also have C&D (Class 6) previous. However, a fairly confident vote is for the Stuart Williams-trained LETHAL ANGEL. She ran an excellent race (finished a close fifth) in a Class 2 fillies' handicap at HQ last week, and despite an unhelpful wide draw tonight still rates as a major player in this much less demanding Class 5 contest.
