The form of the race Won by ROMANTIC PROPOSAL early last month was given a boost on Saturday at the Curragh when the 1¼L second Lovee Dovee landed the spoils in a 17-runner contest over 1m. The Edward Lynam-trained daughter of Ravens Pass has made stealthy progress throughout the season since her debut in May and won at the fifth attempt over C&D last month off a 3lb lower mark. Last time out winners Facethepuckout and Clockers Corner have both been raised 11lb for their recent exploits which may be a big burden to carry. The Tracey Collins-trained Beckwith Place and Red Striker for the Ger Lyons yard should not be underestimated.
