Unable to follow up from 5f Carlisle handicap win in the summer but fared well when 4L seventh in Ayr Listed contest (5f) last time. Player back in easier company.
Had shown likeable progression to finish second at Musselburgh two starts ago but took a backward step when down the field at Ayr (5f) last time. Bounce back is required.
Quietly fancied on debut and ran well for a long way to take fourth in 6f contest at Haydock (soft) at the start of the month. Entitled to come forward and leading player down in trip.
Left debut effort behind her when making all to land 5f Pontefract contest earlier this month. Encounters different ground conditions this time but has the scope to progress again.
Not a factor in two starts to date over 7f at Musselburgh and 6f at this track last time. Likely to find this a struggle again.

Forecasts
Oakenshield (5/4), Jeanie B (5/2), Ventura Flame (11/4), Art Power (6/1), Baileys Blues (10/1), Stittenham Wood (16/1), Get Boosting (22/1), Funky Dunky (40/1), Krystal Crown (40/1)
OAKENSHIELD showed good signs of speed on his debut at Haydock and showed a liking for these underfoot conditions. Kevin Ryan's runners tend to come on for their run and it shouldn't be ignored this is the only ride the jockey has for his retained owner. Jeanie B displays a progressive profile but her pedigree suggests this ground may be an issue. The same can be said for Art Power, while Ventura Flame sets the form standard but has evolved into a frustrating sort.
