Horse silk
8/1
Running well in defeat in a couple of British raids on Perth since July. Deserves a change of luck but needs plenty of improvement in this company.
2

66/1
Gelding by Resplendent Glory out of a Clantime mare. Brother to winning sprinter Jangala Phoenix. Best watched on debut run here for yard not renowned for bumper winners.
3
Horse silk
15/2
Raced in mid-division on debut at Listowel earlier this month before keeping on well for pressure to finish third of seven beaten 4¾L. Plenty of room for improvement.

4/7
A Kalanisi gelding out of a stoutly-bred mare. Half-brother to bumper winner Ravenhill Road. Not up to the required standard for trainer Stuart Crawford when last seen in April. Likely to be a warm order for high-profile trainer/jockey combination.
Gelding by King's Theatre out of a King's Ride. Improving with every run and ran well to finish second of 13 at Bellewstown last month following a 97 day break. Big danger.

20/1
By Irish Wells a full-brother to Vodka Wells. Second of three runners on debut in a Carlisle bumper in April on sole start for trainer Keith Dalgleish. Market likely to reveal expectation on debut for new connections.

It's hard to ignore the chances of the Kalanisi gelding SHAWS BRIDGE on debut for the trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd. The six-year-old failed to hit the right note for trainer Stuart Crawford but can be expected to go well for new connections at the expense of the Patrick Martin-trained, Tecumseh Sherman, promising second of 13 at Bellewstown last month and the already consistent, five-year-old, Arakan Quest. Any market move in the closer for the Gavin Cromwell-trained Tonicngin should be noted.
  1. Shaws Bridge
  2. Tecumseh Sherman
  3. Arakan Quest
