Useful at his peak but that was some while back, and he looks moderate these days. Drops in grade again but that's not a persuasive enough reason to get with him and he has a lot to prove at present.

Winner over 5f at Lingfield last month but not as good when finishing midfield here last time out, although looks worth another crack at 6f on that. Others make stronger cases for the win.

Thirsk winner back in May and now back on the same mark after a series of pretty poor efforts lately. However, has form on the surface and could bounce back, so not discounted.

Has both his share of ability and temperament, two wins in the spring followed by two lesser efforts, and a refusal to race last time out. All wins at 5f too, and all in all, makes only limited appeal.

Made all to win on soft ground at Catterick in June (7f), needs to put two below-par efforts behind him now and this surface an unknown too. Others preferred.

Now 1lb lower than his Catterick win back in July but that's down to a series of moderate efforts. Mixed efforts on this surface, but does have a win to his name, so not discounted despite the wide draw.

Very easy winner over C&D in March, and only 5lb higher here, which looks a workable mark. Back to form when third at Kempton last month, not badly drawn and looks to have a good chance tonight.

Clearly not the most consistent, winner at Thirsk two starts ago but that form rather stands out among some lesser efforts. Likely to be prominent from the off, and if on a going day, can't be discounted.

Only 1lb higher than her last win (at Thirsk, back in April) but her recent form has taken a turn for the worse, and connections now reach for the visor to try and help. Very risky.

One win and a place from three starts here, so enjoys this surface, and couldn't have won any easier here last week, coming right away for a 5l win. Every chance of following up under a 5lb penalty.

Finds winning hard but difficult to knock his record here, placed five times in six starts. Has 5l to find with Queen Of Kalahari on their running last week, might get closer but hard to see how he turns it around.

Going nowhere quickly and now connections give the tongue-tie a try to turn his fortunes around. Shaped a little better than the bare result behind Queen Of Kalahari here last week, so if it works, may do a little better.

20:15 Southwell - 26 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

No shortage of pace on here and that should suit QUEEN OF KALAHARI, who came from off the pace to win easily here last week and it may well be the same again tonight. Awa Bomba has winning form on Fibresand and looks the danger after a better effort at Kempton last time. Catapult doesn't know how to run a bad one here and should be on the premises, and Luzum could potentially bounce back on a surface he likes.
  1. Queen Of Kalahari
  2. Awa Bomba
  3. Catapult
