Effective over both 1m and 1m2f; 6lb higher than when making a winning debut for Chelsea Banham at Lingfield (1m2f) in August; ought to be firmly in the mix.

Doesn't win all that often, although his two previous AW successes (2-35) have come over C&D; beaten 1½L (third) by Parknacilla over C&D latest; Luke Morris is an eye-catching booking (was aboard for his last success).

Leicester nursery winner (1m, good to soft) last October; well beaten on all three starts so far in 2019, and having also shown precious little on the AW (0-2) can only be monitored.

Without a win since January (1m½f Wolverhampton) but has finished runner-up on no fewer than four occasions since; beaten a neck by Arlecchino's Arc over 1m2f here in April and 5lb lower today; place claims.

Eight-race maiden; has kept relatively solid form since returning to the track in late July; idled in front when arguably not fully seeing out this trip when beaten ½L by Parknacilla over C&D three weeks ago; likely player nevertheless.

Broke his duck with a shock 33-1 7f win here in May (beat Red Cossack - runs in Division 1 by ½L); hasn't kicked on positively since; no worries whatsoever with regards this longer trip (does stay).

Hasn't won on the AW since Feb 2015 (5f) when a talented sprinter for David Elsworth; has vastly different targets nowadays but showed renewed vigour when third on debut for this trainer at Bath (1m2f, firm) three weeks ago; noteworthy.

Veteran of 131 races (14 wins); is quirky at times and with very clear and obvious signs that he's nowhere near the force of yesteryear, simply can't be considered as a realistic threat.

Lowly-rated ten-race maiden; has competed over 1m2f and beyond on her last five starts (easing 13lb in the process); is worth a go back at a shorter trip in hope of rediscovering some signs of life.

Poor in nine-career starts (6f-1m1f) and with no reason whatsoever to expect better, it'll come as a real surprise if this nine-race maiden plays any significant role in the finish; look elsewhere.

19:00 Chelmsford City - 24 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Voice Of A Leader is in the midst of a productive spell of form for the Chelsea Banham/Joey Haynes partnership, and ought to figure positively in the shake-up as a result, while it is interesting to see Luke Morris back aboard the dual C&D scorer Squire. Furthermore, the likes of Sharp Operator and Merdon Castle are definite place possibles. However, although not quite appearing to see out this trip (and perhaps more worryingly looking to be a fraction quirky), we'll elect to give the eight-race maiden RED SKYE DELIGHT the benefit of the doubt in the hope that she can up her game enough to improve upon her recent close C&D second to Parknacilla.
