Guardia Svizzerah6
Age: 5|  Weight: 9-10| J: B A Curtis| T: R Fell & S Murray| OR:  61| CD
9/5
Dual C&D winner (part of a handicap hat-trick last August); has slipped markedly in the weights this year (well below his last winning mark). Produced his best effort of the season last time in a Thirsk selling handicap; not sure to be in same form.

Rego Park Ladyp12
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-8| J: J P Sullivan| T: A Murray| OR:  59| CD
7/2
Produced his one standout effort of the year over C&D in July taking advantage of dropping into a 0-55 for the first time. Underperformed in two starts since failing to land a blow over a sharp 5f at Catterick last time; revival needed.

Age: 12|  Weight: 9-5| J: S A Gray| T: Mrs L Stubbs| OR:  56| CD
22/1
Veteran sprinter whose six C&D wins should be given due respect even though it's over two years since he gained his last win. Did far too much early last time (always leads) and that run is best ignored; well weighted if he could put it all together.

Age: 8|  Weight: 9-1| J: G Lee| T: P T Midgley| OR:  52| CD
11/2
Built on some recent promise when scoring at Nottingham (5f, heavy) two starts ago before not unsurprisingly running poorly last time over C&D last time. Often travels strongly, won't be a surprise if he does bounce back; remains with handicap scope.

14/1
Modest maiden who suddenly found some form when a 100-1 chance in a Down Royal maiden last time. Remains to be seen in she can back up that level of form having been well beaten off modest marks in handicaps before; note a market move.

7/1
Suffered a less than fruitful year, has now descended to a career-low mark having run one of her lesser races last time. Only win so far came on the AW (6f) at the end of last year; overall 1-25 record fails to inspire much confidence.

Star Crackerp3
Age: 7|  Weight: 8-8| J: P Mathers| T: J S Goldie| OR:  45| D
13/2
Struggling to find any consistency in his form since he scored over 5f on the AW earlier in the year. Now down to a basement mark his recent Ayr run lacked any fluency despite finishing midfield in a 0-70 contest; will appreciate the ease in grade.

Age: 8|  Weight: 8-8| J: Connor Murtagh(3)| T: A Berry| OR:  45| CD
50/1
Dual course winner, once over this trip but those victories are almost lost in the mists of time now. Hardly beaten a rival in his four starts this year and given no encouragement that even a modest performance is imminent.

50/1
Of little interest having shown only very limited ability in a variety of minor events and handicaps at up to 7f. Slowly away when last seen over 6f at Ayr she isn't one to include in calculations.

14:30 Hamilton - 22 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The first division of a modest handicap; few of these looking as though they are in form. ONE BOY may have struggled to cope with the heavy going last time and this strong traveller who is already as C&D winner remains on a mark which is more than workable. A return to Hamilton could spark Rego Park Lady back to life but it’s her compatriot Realtin Fantasy who may be more interesting especially if there are strong market vibes for her. Super Florence bounced back to winning form last time although a 5lb rise makes life more difficult she’s hard to exclude from calculations. Guardia Svizzera took a step back in the right direction last time and this dual C&D winner deserves consideration.
  1. One Boy
  2. Realtin Fantasy
  3. Super Florence
