A relatively interesting contest for the grade with at least a couple of horses having caught the eye as potential future winners. Geoff Harker's Eldelbar has slipped to a career low handicap mark, and after attracting some each-way interest was probably a shade unlucky (met trouble in running) not to bustle-up the winner Carlovian over 6f here recently. However, a marginal preference is for the Stella Barclay-trained MANSFIELD who is evidently thought well capable of winning a race from his current handicap mark (57) on the back of a couple of solid performances over 6f. Others in with a shout for the minor places include Exchequer and Scandinavian Lady.
