Made all to score on nursery debut at Ascot (6f, good to firm) in July, but hasn't quite progressed as well as expected since; more like it when third in a Class 3 contest at Chelmsford (6f) three weeks ago; tackles a new trip.
Made all in a four-runner contest at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) last month, in the process supplying Rebecca Menzies with a first ever juvenile winner; far from disgraced in a competitive Class 2 fillies' nursery at Doncaster (6½f) last week.
£50,000 Equiano yearling; bred for speed, evident in all three starts to date - weakening to finish sixth of eight to Vindicate in a 1m Chelmsford novice latest; fair mark for handicap debut and a rare Catterick runner for Brian Meehan.
Five-race maiden; without running necessarily poorly hasn't shown a great deal of improvement either for the switch to nurseries; needs the first-time cheekpieces to provide that extra edge in order to be majorly competitive.
Kyllachy colt (90,000gns yearling); has made steady, if unspectacular progress to date, but hailing from one of the major stables could admittedly improve for the switch to nurseries; has experience of Catterick - one-paced fifth to Mischief Star.
Has had plenty of chances to break the maiden (0-8), but in all fairness is a fairly consistent juvenile; 1lb lower than when a modest fourth to Powertrain at Chester (7f, good) last week; others hold more compelling claims.

A tricky nursery which lacks a standout contender. Eton College is a possible player, although he does have plenty of weight on his shoulders for his achievements and it remains to be seen how he handles this step up in trip (may stay 7f around a sharp track like Catterick), while it would come as no real surprise if the switch to nurseries aided the 90,000gns yearling Kuwait Shield. However, for small stakes we'll chance the pacy RED TREBLE. She provided Rebecca Menzies with her first ever juvenile winner when making all at Musselburgh and arguably bettered that form in a deep Class 2 fillies' nursery (ninth of 13) at Doncaster last week.
