Showed little in five runs on the Flat, bred for this game though and offered something to work with on hurdling bow at Listowel (2m, yielding; 66-1) this month. Should be competitive.

Two wins from 15 runs on the Flat, finished fourth of 13 on debut over jumps at Down Royal (2m½f, good; 4-1) last month and has clear potential for better in this sphere.
Well beaten in two maidens on the Flat. Can't be seen as good enough to make a mark on his debut over hurdles based on that evidence.

Beaten 30L in 2m1f yielding-to-soft Killarney hurdles contest last month, in keeping with effort on the Flat. Has plenty to work on now.
5
Horse silk
33/1
Shaped with some purpose in last month's hurdling bow at Listowel (2m, yielding) outrunning odds of 66-1. Will have to build on that effort now.
6

Six starts on the Flat all brought heavy defeats, with the Power colt so far beating just one of the 72 rivals he has faced. Hurdles bow, stiff ask.

Puddymore: 10-race maiden on the Flat, yet to run beyond 1m1f. Will need to improve for meeting obstacles if hoping to be competitive.

Generally disappointing for John Oxx until landing a claimer at Ballinrobe in June; unable to land a blow on hurdles bow at Listowel this month having gone off a 50-1 chance. Plenty to work on.

Lightly-raced mare on the Flat, showed promise in three spring maidens. Has had a nice break since, market likely to reveal plenty on expectations ahead of this jumps debut.

Useful on the Flat, she has finished second in both starts over hurdles so far. No match for easy winner at Killarney (2m1f, yielding to soft; 4-5f) last month; form boosted when winner won Listed race in France by 9L next time.

Good start over hurdles when third last month at Killarney (Harvest Bow second), has run to similar level since at Listowel (finished sixth). Has to improve to score here seemingly.

Five-race maiden on the Flat, showing little in the way of ability. Best watched now venturing over timber for the first time (Reserve).

15:30 Ballinrobe - 20 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

HARVEST BOW is entitled to have strong claims here having finished second in both starts over timber thus far, the latest of those efforts boosted when the winner convincingly won a Listed race in France next time out. Colfer Me also showed a good aptitude for hurdling first time out, while both Recent Revelations and Very Excellent are possibly leading candidates coming from the Flat.
  1. Harvest Bow
  2. Colfer Me
  3. Recent Revelations
