Won on debut at Newcastle, and produced an improved effort on recent handicap debut when winning at Kempton (1½m) by 2¼ lengths from Hydroplane. Seems as effective on turf, and holds every chance again.

Disappointing on first two starts this season, but got back on track when beaten just over ½L into third in a 6-runner handicap at Beverley last time. Needs to prove he can back that up, but not dismissed.

Made an encouraging start to life in the handicap sphere, prior to finding the Melrose a bit too hot to handle at York (1¾m). Dropped in trip now and could resume progress for in-form yard.

Forecasts

El Misk (5/6), Universal Order (5/2), Three Comets (3/1)

15:10 Yarmouth - 17 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Nothing to choose between the trio, but UNIVERSAL ORDER is better than he could show in the Melrose Stakes at York last time, and appeals as the sort to get back on the winning trail sooner rather than later. He has most to fear from recent Kempton winner El Misk, although Three Comets has a chance if he can build on a more encouraging effort at Beverley.
