Picked up the third win of his career two starts ago when he was successful at Ballinrobe (2m1½f). He was disappointing on his latest appearance though as he was 10th of 19 at Galway (2m½f). Needs to bounce back.
Was successful in a bumper on the second start of his career at Tramore (2m) but has been unable to follow that up since. He did run well over this C&D last time when he was second of 19. One to consider.
Dual-purpose gelding who was second of 20 on his previous hurdles outing over this C&D. Featured on the Flat last time where he was eighth of 14 at Roscommon (7½f). Up 2lb in the weights. Worth considering.
Experienced gelding who is still yet to taste victory in 40 runs. He produced one of his best performances to date last time when he was second of nine at Bellewstown (2m4f). Can't be discounted here off the same mark.
Still searching for his first success after seven outings. He produced the best run of his career on his latest start as he was second of 11 at Clonmel (2m½f). Makes his handicap debut here. Not to be discounted.
Could only finish 15th of 20 over this C&D on his latest appearance after going off at 33/1. Is now back down to a workable mark, however, others make more of an appeal in this contest.
His form this season has been largely disappointing, including his latest effort at Listowel (2m) where he was 10th of 17 runners. Needs to improve on what he has shown recently to be competitive.
Has been in excellent form with two wins from her last three starts. Her latest success came at Bellewstown (2m4f) in a 12 runner field. Has gone up 6lb and is taking a step down in trip. Leading player again.
Scored at Downpatrick (2m3f) two runs ago in impressive fashion. Was unable to follow it up over fences last time over the same C&D as he could only finish fifth of 14. Returns to hurdles. One for the shortlist.
Has gone really close to his second success on his latest two appearances. He was second of 12 last time at Sligo (2m1½f) where he was only a short-head behind in the 12 runner field. One to think about.
His sole success so far came on the Flat at the Curragh (1m4f). Has appeared over hurdles twice this year where he has struggled on both occasions, including latest attempt at Roscommon (2m5f) when he was eighth of 14. Needs to produce more.
Is no closer to finding her first success after 10 starts. She had just one rival behind her last time in a seven runner field at Ballinrobe (2m½f). Very difficult to make a case for her in this contest.
His only win was back in July 2016 when he broke his maiden at Ballinrobe (2m1½f). His performances recently have been encouraging, especially when he was third of 12 at Sligo (2m1½f) on his penultimate start. Worth respecting.
A winner on the AW at Dundalk (1m) back in May during his Flat campaign. Has appeared four times over hurdles now without any success. He was sixth of 13 on his latest outing at Down Royal (2m½f). Others are preferred.
Lightly-raced mare who has had four runs without an opening win to date. She was a little better on her handicap debut where she was sixth of 19 at Down Royal (2m3½f). Has been eased 2lb. One to watch for now.
Ran modestly well last time when she was fifth of 14 at Clonmel over the extended 2m trip. Still looking for her opening hurdles success. Yard are in good form but she will need to improve.
A C&D winner who scored here last September. He has been disappointing in his two starts this season, including latest at Ballinrobe (2m2½f) where he was sixth of 14. Others stand out more.
Yet to score in 13 attempts. Has not looked like getting her first win this year. She was 11th of 12 at Tramore (2m) last time after going off at 33/1. Difficult to make a case for on what we have seen so far.

Dumhach Thra was second over this C&D on his last appearance in a big runner field and a repeat of that performance will see him in the mix again, while Effernock Lad should enter your calculations on his return to hurdles, despite a 7lb rise in the weights.
