His form has been below his best this season, including latest appearance at Epsom (1m4f) where he was fifth of seven runners. Has been eased 3lb and is up in trip. Others make more of an appeal.

Has won twice on the AW but is 0-19 on turf. She was sixth of 11 on her last start at this track over 1m3½f. Stepping back up to what looks to be her favoured distance. Others are preferred on this surface.

Broke his maiden over this C&D back in May. Struggled to follow that up after rising up the weights. He was much better last time though at this track (1m3½f), finishing third of 11. Back up in distance. One to consider.

Has fallen down the weights this year following some disappointing form. She failed to beat a single horse last time on the AW at this track over 1m5f. Has been eased a further 2lb in the weights. Much more needed than her recent efforts.

Still looking for his opening success after six starts, however, he came close last time at Chepstow (1m4f) where he was second of eight after going off as the 7/2 favourite. Likely to improve for this step up in trip. Big player.

Yet to prevail in eight runs. She came closest to her first win last time at Ffos Las (1m6f) where she was second of 15, beaten by 5L. Has gone up just 1lb in the weights. Worth considering off this mark.

Is on a losing stretch which goes back to September 2017. Her form recently has been disappointing. She was fifth of 12 here last time over the extended 2m trip. Dropping down in distance now. Needs to improve.

Dual-purpose mare who has won over hurdles but has yet to prevail on the Flat. She was fourth of seven at Bangor in a 2m7f hurdle contest last time. Has recently switched yards. Best to watch on her return to the Flat.

Broke his maiden earlier this year at Nottingham (1m2f) but was unable to add to that since then. His latest appearance came on the AW at Chelmsford (1m6f) where he was fifth of 13. Still needs to prove himself at this trip.

Lightly-raced filly who is a maiden following five starts. She improved last time to finish sixth of 15 at Windsor (1m3½f) on what was just her second handicap outing. Needs to prove her stamina over this distance.

Has been a long way down the field on her three runs to date. She had just one horse behind her last time at Chelmsford (1m2f) in a seven runner field on the AW. Making her handicap debut here but she needs to take a huge step forward.

Although he is still a maiden after five starts, he has shown some promise on the track. He was second of 14 here on the AW over 2m, two starts back. Down in trip once again and looks to be off a workable mark.

His sole success so far came on the AW at the track over 1m2f. He has hit the frame a couple of time since then, including on turf at Epsom (1m4f) when he was third of 12. Has each-way claims from this mark.

14:15 Lingfield - 14 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MR NICE GUY was staying on really strongly last time over 1m4f so this step up in distance should help his chances of recording his opening success on the track. He is open to improvement and remains off the same mark as his recent second place finish which makes him the one to beat. Banta Bay is a C&D winner and he should build upon his recent effort here over a shorter trip, while Beechwood James has to be respected off this mark and can full the placings.
  1. Mr Nice Guy
  2. Banta Bay
  3. Beechwood James
