Green and never involved when a 43L last of three over this C&D on heavy on debut. Hard to make any sort of case for.

Horse silk

Son of Bated Breath gelded ahead of debut and cost 43,000 gns as a foal. Stable have had a juvenile winner this season but not really noted for them. Market should provide best guide.

Noble Mission colt has only beaten two rivals home in two well held efforts so far. Hard to see he's likely to find the necessary improvement and likely best watched.

Stag Horn
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: P Mulrennan| T: A Watson
6/4
Son of Golden Horn represents a stable very much in form. A fifth foal but bred to need a fair bit further in time. Still worth a market check on debut.

€4,000 yearling has outrun his purchase price with two close up efforts so far. That form sets a clear standard and he's open to plenty of improvement. Rates a leading contender/

15:55 Carlisle - 11 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

STRAWMAN has gone close twice, sets a clear standard and it will probably take a decent newcomer or a poor performance to beat him, Ruby Shield needed her debut and is a likely improver. Notation may find this on the sharp side but is a very interesting debutante.
