Took a 5f minor event in first-time cheekpieces (didn't need to show much improvement) in testing conditions last month. Ran to a similar level without winning returned to handicaps last time at Bath; hard to discount.
Fair maiden who for the most part has proved consistent for this yard (showed that he could win at this level when runner-up in two 5f handicaps). Not seen to best effect last time at Musselburgh (failed to get a run); should run his race.
Gained the run of the race/best track position when showing improved form to score her first victory at Thirsk (6f, good/soft). 7lb higher this time she needs to show further progress and may not be so lucky to find a race scenario that suits.
C&D winner on his penultimate start going one better than his effort the time before over the same C&D. Found life tougher when penalised last time out at Musselburgh (5f, good/soft); still returned a creditable effort, may appeal back at this venue.
Dual nursery winner last year over 5f/6f who hasn't quite found his form this year. Ridden by today's rider on his last three starts since returning from a break he would probably be better with stronger handling judged on last year's victories.
A change of tactics (held up) appeared to work the oracle and allow him to go one better than his two previous starts (tried to make all) when winning at Redcar (6f, good/soft). Failed to reproduce that form last time (more testing conditions).
Found life tough going since her May Redcar win over 5f on good ground (has a very speedy pedigree) off the same mark (54) as today. More needed based on her most recent outings; would need one or two of these to falter to make the frame.
Has on a couple of occasions looked of interest for the future but as yet that promise has yet to be fulfilled. Her last two starts have been particularly disappointing; hard to recommend based on those outings, best watched for now.

A workaday three-year-old handicap sprint which lacks any real improving sorts very few of this bunch looking ahead of their marks. Jill Rose had the run of things last time and may not be fortunate in this but her winning form can’t be discounted in a modest contest. Fox Hill will appreciate a better surface to race on and along with The Grey Zebedee represent some sound enough form. Tick Tock Croc shaped as though he could be coming back to form last time and any money for him should be noted. SOCIETY STAR has to give weight to the entire field but has been running well and comes from a yard that are noted for their sprinters.
