Sprang a surprise when scoring at Ballinrobe on only his second hurdles appearance (2m1f, yielding) last month; jumped well that day and looks capable of following up over this slightly shorter trip.

Confidently won a maiden hurdle at Roscommon in early August from the front where some good jumping in the latter stages saw him home; entitled to improve again and looks a leading contender.
Took advantage of a lenient handicap mark to score at Down Royal on the flat in May before struggling over a slightly longer trip subsequently; interesting entrant in this contest and market should provide some clues.

Bitterly disappointing in five outings on the flat but is nicely-bred for jumping; hard to assess on debut here but any market moves would bode well for his chances.
5

Six-race maiden who showed little on his first five starts but raced with more promise last time out behind one of the expected market leaders For Everyone. The third in that race has won subsequently so has chances in first-time cheekpieces.

Can be expected to improve on his hurdles debut at Killarney last month; his jumping let him down that day but with a clearer round he can not be left entirely out of calculations.
7
Horse silk

Generally disappointing on the flat but did show glimpses of ability; another who is difficult to assess on hurdling debut and market may help calculating his true chance.
8

Has struggled, changed trainer and been gelded since winning a Dundalk maiden on the flat in February. Finished stone last on his only hurdles appearances and definitely hard to make a case for.
9
Horse silk
16/1
Ten-race maiden on the flat but was placed in half of those starts; only raced up to a mile convincingly and was even sent sprinting so whether he will have the stamina to see this out on his debut remains to be seen.

Generally disappointing for John Oxx until landing a claimer at Ballinrobe in June; fair chance if taking to hurdles but other with experience have more solid claims.

Had some fair form on the flat and translated that to hurdles on his debut at Down Royal late last month; his jumping cost him his chance on that occasion so if hurdling better he could go well at a fair price.

Improved on easy introduction at Roscommon in early August when running with credit at Cartmel last week; entitled to improve again for that experience and not easily ruled out.

Given the quality of her form on the flat it was a pleasant surprise to see her run so well on her hurdles debut at Killarney (2m1f, yielding-to-soft). More improvement needed but could run into a place again.
14
Horse silk
100/1
No real show on her two hurdling outings to date but is picking up much needed experience; hard to see her dramatically improving to be a serious contender but not without a chance in a first-time hood.
15
Horse silk
6/1
Fairly consistent sort for Mick Channon on the flat showing good ability up to 1m2f on different surfaces; very interesting contender on hurdles debut and expect market support if fancied by connections.

Has raced just twice, once on the flat when disappointing at Cork before being more disappointing on hurdles debut last time out at Killarney; hard to see she will be up to winning this on that evidence.

14:00 Listowel - 8 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There was much to like about the way FOR EVERYONE scored at Ballinrobe in August on only his second hurdle appearance when he jumped like an old-timer; this should stand him in good stead against some less experienced jumpers. Hereia is another recent winner who can be expected to improve (and improve his jumping) and may give the selection most to do. Others with place chances include Mianna and Grey Girly while Patchouli is capable of running a solid race if translating his useful flat form to this sphere.
