Flopped behind subsequent winner Bless Him at Yarmouth last time, but this is a much easier task, and his previous all-the-way win at Pontefract brings him into the equation.
Below form over C&D on penultimate start, and again at Ripon last time, for all he took a step in the right direction. Return to the form which saw him win at Ayr in June and finish third at York the following month would put him on the premises.
Narrow winner of a handicap at Bellewstown (1m, good) before leaving Joseph O'Brien. Not come close to that form in three runs for new yard, however, and opposable until showing he's acclimatised.
Finally put it all together when successful from the front at Windsor on her penultimate start, but then ran poorly at Chepstow, and isn't one for maximum faith given her patchy recent record.

SMILE A MILE was well held behind Bless Him at Yarmouth last time, but had made all at Pontefract prior to that, and will appreciate going around a bend again. He's marginally preferred to Irreverent who was better than the bare result at Ripon, and Boston George, who would have finished closer but for a slow start at York last time.
