C&D winner on heavy ground towards the end of 2018 but has largely struggled this campaign and remains 8lb above her last winning handicap mark.

Recorded a hat-trick in 2018 and bolted up in a competitive handicap at Beverley earlier this year. However, paid for that with a hike in the weights and still looks vulnerable from a handicapping perspective, having never won from a mark this mark.

Deservedly off the mark at the eighth attempt over C&D last time out on heavy ground. Had a bit up his sleeve that day and a 6lb rise from the handicapper looks fair; interesting contender.

Won her maiden here on debut and gained a first win since over C&D last time out. Acts on heavy and only up 3lb but this is a tougher race and she will need to find some improvement.

Gained a first win since 2016 at Doncaster earlier in the campaign over this trip on similar ground. In and out of form subsequently though and this test is tougher than the race she finished fourth of 10 in at Leicester last time.

Lost his maiden tag on seasonal debut at Redcar (1m2f, good to firm) but failed to back that up in any way on softer ground the next twice. Better effort at Redcar last time but ground has to be a concern here.

Heavy ground winner at Carlisle in December last year but has shown nothing in three yards for this yard so far. On a nice mark if he can find his best form and goes on this ground but hard to have faith in on what he's shown this year.

Surprise winner on his second start in handicaps at Leicester in June but failed to back that up at Sandown last time out. Hasn't given the impression the drop in trip is what's in order but a return to some cut in the ground may help.

Got her head back in front on seasonal bow at Ayr and had been running well in defeat since prior to a very disappointing run at Nottingham last time out on heavy ground. Has a bit to prove from her career high mark with the ground also a concern.

Off the mark in a novice event on his third start and gave the impression he may be capable from this sort of handicap mark when runner-up at Leicester last time out. Up 2lb but respected.

Won a 13-runner handicap at Newcastle at the end of 2018 and while he returned to form with a good second on AW at Lingfield in August, he failed to back that up next time at Bath when well beaten. Yet to show enough on turf to be of interest here.

Consistent performer but has only managed to get his head in front once in 14 starts and that came on AW. Interesting contender if the first-time visor ekes out some improvement.

Still a maiden after nine starts and while she showed some promise as a juvenile, she's failed to build on that so far this campaign. Failed to beat a rival home in two of her last three starts and has plenty to prove at present.

Wolverhampton winner as a juvenile and while he ran okay when returned to AW (Tapeta) at Newcastle two starts ago, his four runs on turf have been very disappointing; others preferred.

17:20 Haydock - 7 September 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A tough finale to find the winner of but ZIP may be able to find some improvement for the fitting of a first-time visor and he's a consistent sort who ought to be capable of getting his head in front again at some point this season. Barossa Red has to be a danger with a repeat of the course and distance success last time out. London Protocol has shown very little for his current yard but is capable from this sort of mark and won't mind the rain that has arrived this week.
