6,000gns yearling; sixth foal; half-brother to two winners, namely Grand Meister (1m3f-1m6f) and Hold On Tight (1m4f); mildly interesting to see if there's any confidence from connections in the market exchanges.
Mastercrafstman gelding; was dropped back in trip (to 1m) at Kempton latest and that coincided with a far better performance - third of ten to the John Gosden-trained Albadar; prominent in the thinking in a very modest race.
7,000gns foal, 5,000gns yearling; sixth foal; half-sister to a couple of winners (7f-1m2f); trainer is 4-71 (6%) with her three-year-old's since January 2015.
Sea The Moon filly (€52,000 yearling); half-sister to four winners, including Headline News (1m2f-1m4f); posted a promising debut (third) at Windsor (1m2f, good) and sets the clear form standard on that evidence.
SHAUYRA finished behind a subsequent winner (the useful El Misk) when posting a promising debut at Windsor last month and faces lesser opposition now switched to the AW for her second racecourse start. Her trainer William Haggas has an excellent overall record at this track (24-68; 35%) and that only serves to heighten the confidence that this daughter of Sea The Moon could be about to break the maiden status. On all known form the David Lanigan-trained Mr Carpenter is a clear second best.
