Roderic O'Connor colt. Dam was a 6f winner on the track. Half-Brother to multiple winners, including six-time winners Black Bess (7f), Equiano Springs (7f) and Amis Reunis (6f). Interesting pedigree but more of a long-term project.
Well-bred Dubawi colt. Showed good aptitude when narrowly denied on debut at Newmarket (1m, good) earlier this month. Drop back to 7f isn't ideal but sets the form standard and should progress.
Homebred Exceed and Excel colt out of an unraced mare by Galileo. Pedigree is of interest on debut but jockey bookings suggest he is the owner's second string.
Royal homebred by Nayef out of an unraced dam who is closely related to up to 2m7f winner Final Choice and three-time winner Zonergem (2m). Represents powerful connections but this trip is likely to be sharp.
Intello colt who is a modest purchase as a yearling. Weakened tamely on debut at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month and yard has failed to have a juvenile winner this season. Opposable.
350,000 gns yearling. By a superstar up and coming sire out of a 6f Listed-winning mare. Holds lofty entries in the Royal Lodge and Dewhurst Stakes towards the end of the season and must command respect on debut.
Homebred by useful sire Dark Angel out of AW winning mare. Half-Brother to three-time winner Themaxwecan (1m6f) which suggests he will perform better over further. Stable's second choice on jockey bookings.
80,000 gns yearling. Dam was a winner over 1m4f and is a half-brother to useful stayer/ hurdler William Of Orange. Pedigree suggests staying trips will be his optimum.
Pivotal colt who offered little on debut when tailed off in 7f Salisbury maiden contest in June. Winner has gone on to finish second in the Vintage Stakes but significant improvement is required.
Frankel colt purchased for 380,000 gns at the yearling sales. Dam won the Debutante Stakes in 2012 and produced two-time winner Main Street. Strong enough pedigree and leading player for powerful connections.
600,000 gns purchase by Kingman out of an unraced mare who has produced 1m2f winner Tatweej. Yard tends to run his better horses at this track and cant be discounted.
Morpheus colt whose fee increased from €5,000 to €90,000 as a juvenile. Dam has produced three-time winner Shimmering Dawn and four-time scorer Zeeoneandonly. Trip should be fine and may go well at a fair price.

A strong-looking maiden contest where many of the top yards from the country are represented, LORD CAMPARI has a striking pedigree with a perfect blend of speed and stamina and given the top juvenile entries he has, he may well be held in high regard by trainer Roger Varian. He is the one to beat ahead of Discovery Island, who brings good experience and form into the race but may not handle the drop back to a bare 7f, while My Frankel and Palace Pier are both expensive purchases and have eye-catching pedigrees but may excel over further.
