Something of an underachiever with one win in 22 starts, but capable of fair form over hurdles (runner-up last time), and placed off similar marks on the Flat last year. Can have no excuses in a race lacking depth.
Third over this trip at York in June, and would have every chance on that effort, but he's run poorly on both starts since, and needs to bounce back in a first-time visor.
Has won four of his last five, on AW, turf and over hurdles. Had plenty to spare when winning on heavy ground at Ayr last time, and while rain would help, he has obvious claims off a 5lb higher mark.
Has been hurdling, and did win one last December, but more recent efforts in that sphere have been poor, and no sign of a revival in three Flat outings this summer.
Hard to know what she achieved when third of 4 in an uncompetitive 1m novice at Carlisle last time, but had offered little prior to that, and hopes rest on this massive step up in trip suiting (mixed messages in pedigree).
CLEARANCE has been really well placed to win four of his last five starts under both codes, and has yet again been found a race which won't take much winning. He's preferred to top weight Uptown Funk, who is a solid place option for all he rarely wins. Reassurance hasn't offered much this year, but drops in class, and that might well enable her to be competitive.
