Not far behind Pinatubo on debut and then beat the useful Makyon at York. Disappointing at Chester on nursery debut but gelded since and back to his best trip.

Salisbury maiden winner has failed on both previous attempts at this trip. More exposed than his rivals and others preferred.

Has improved with each run and looks fairly treated judged on her latest run. Rider good value for his claim and any further improvement would make him a leading contender.

Runner-up here on debut in an uncompetitive affair and her limitations have been exposed since. Faces a tough test here and looks hard to fancy.

16:00 Yarmouth - 25 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

FRED ran an astonishing race at Haydock when opening up a clear lead and then battling on gamely when looking as though he was about to be swallowed up. The amount of early tactical speed he showed that day makes the drop to 6f a worthwhile move. The form has worked out well enough to make him look better handicapped than proved to be the case in a hot race at Goodwood last time. War Storm looks well-treated judged on his first two runs, but he has not progressed even though he has won a minor race since. Little Brown Trout looks a bigger threat given his rate of improvement and the form of his 7lb claimer.
  1. Fred
  2. Little Brown Trout
  3. War Storm
