Three Flat wins from 14 starts but the Sir Percy gelding is still looking for his breakthrough success in five starts on turf. Has run well since joining this yard, though stamina goes into unknown territory now.
Winner of a valuable Newbury handicap (2m½f, good to firm; 11-4) last summer and has also got head in front over timber this term. Ran well in Galway Hurdle last time out. Huge player for last year's winning team.
French import, won a beginners' chase over 2m6½f at this meeting last year for Willie Mullins before exiting yard soon after. No show in two chase outings last winter. First run for this yard / on the Flat.
Galileo colt, left Ballydoyle having failed to grasp his chance in maidens over a variety of trips. Similar story in two outings for new handler at 1m4f-1m7f. Plenty improvement to find seemingly.
Mountain High gelding, won a low-grade bumper at Worcester in June on debut. Hard to know what that form amounts to, respected for this trainer if money arrives.
Wexford bumper winner last year and landed a gamble on handicap hurdle bow at Wetherby (2m3½f, good; 11-10) in January. Also scooped Wexford beginners' chase on St Patrick's Day. Off since poor Wetherby run after. Second runner for trainer.
STRATUM ought to find this to his liking after contesting much better race on the Flat and over hurdles lately and he should ensure back-to-back wins in the race for Team Mullins. Noble Expression wasn't disgraced last time in Listed company but has stamina to prove now while Worcester bumper winner Rough Terain is preferred ahead of Thosedaysaregone from the two Charles Byrnes contenders.
