Only won once but second success surely on the horizon after excellent efforts at Haydock (second over 1m) and at the Galway festival (third of 16 over 7f). This trip his best and looks sure to make another bold bid.
Dual AW winner last December over 7f he's been without a win since in a mixture of turf/AW starts over similar trips. Failed to fire on all cylinders of late in claiming company; eyeshields worn for both recent wins return; work to do.
Didn't get the breaks when strong finishing second in valuable claiming handicap at Pontefract two starts back but no such hard luck stories when well held latest in a Thirsk handicap and opposable given two year losing run.
Irish raider rather in and out in handicaps since maiden win at Dundalk in March. Second of 18 at the Curragh over this trip two starts ago off today's mark compelling form but disappointed next and arrives after 10 week break.
Winless in eight since notching a double last July and after being beaten 21L at Newbury latest he is very hard to recommend.
Completely lost his way for Stuart Williams with three straight last placed finishes from 6f-1m seeing him beaten a combined 44L. New connections have their work cut out.
Placed twice in four start since 1m1f win at Hamilton in May. Still 4lb higher than that success but remains competitive and runners from this yard often find improvement when looking exposed.
Followed up Lingfield (1m; standard) victory with comfortable success at Yarmouth (1m; good to firm) but was fifth next at Wolves when enduring a wide trip. 7lb higher now than latest win but could still have more to give.
Absolutely loves it here having registered all seven career successes on the July course. Won over C&D for the fifth time last month and willing to put a line through Yarmouth disappointment since now back on favoured track.
Seven-race maiden but suggesting first success imminent the last twice with third over 1m and second over 1m2f at Yarmouth. Cheekpieces may eek out more so must be respected now.

After running so well in a race far more competitive than this in Ireland last time MOXY MARES makes plenty of appeal to gain a second career success. Three-year-olds Catch My Breath and Creek Island could provide the sternest opposition with the former the more feared although Mark Johnston is always a force at this racecourse.
