Made the frame in all but one of his efforts over fences since he started life over the larger obstacles in April. This is probably the easiest assignment he has faced in recent months and he has a big chance of recording his first win over fences.

Proved majorly underwhelming on his second start over fences when only managing to finish 12th of 15 at Tipperary (2m1f; good) most recently. Fell on chase debut before that so is hard to fancy but may have place claims in an uncompetitive affair.

Winless in 13 runs over fences but did produce a fine effort when a narrowly losing out in a handicap at Wexford (2m4f; good) last month. Has gone well at this venue in the past, and could go close on his return to novice company.

0-8 and suffered a heavy defeat on chase debut over this C&D in May. Pulled-up over hurdles when last seen at Limerick (2m6f; good), and now reverts to fences with masses to prove. Watching brief advised.

Regressive in recent starts and is subsequently impossible to have any faith in on what he has in recent months. Made no impact in three starts over fences, and was tailed off when having an outing on the flat most recently.

Inconsistent and has been kept on the go since April. Unable to fare more competitively since switched to the handicap sphere and fell when last running over fences. Well-beaten over the smaller obstacles since at Galway (2m; good). Best watched.

Finished last of 10 on just his second start over fences when five-length behind Kos. Work to do to reverse that form, and even if he did that still wouldn't be good enough.

It is pretty straightforward to rule most of these out, with not many of them looking convincing sorts on what they have shown so far over fences. Generalisation has only had the two starts over fences and may be able to get slightly closer to the main protagonists this time round in what is a poor race. Another name to mention is My Manekineko who is beginning to compile a fairly consistent record over fences and did little wrong when runner-up in a handicap when last seen. The clear pick though is EVISCERATING who despite being 0-4 over fences, has made an encouraging start to life over fences and can take advantage of what represents a slight drop in class.
  1. Eviscerating
  2. My Manekineko
  3. Generalisation
