Twice-raced filly but is well related to various good performers. Always behind and failed to feature in 7f Galway maiden on latest start. May need a few races to get the hang of things and rates as a long-term project.

Fared better than the result suggested with 6L ninth at Naas (6f, good) at the end of June. Entitled to progress and has place claims, but yard hasn't been in good form this summer.

Dark Angel filly. Out of a mare who won twice over 6f and has produced 1m winners Red Phoenix and Feathery. Market should guide on debut.

Fracas filly who is a half-sister to multiple winners, including 6f scorer Suntan and 1m1f winner Sing Out Loud. Yard has failed to have a single winner this year so is best watched.

€16,000 foal. First progeny of a dam who failed to win on the track but is a half sister to 6f winner Indian Maiden. Notable if there is betting support.

Failed to show necessary progression from debut effort with 6L fifth at Down Royal (7f, good) in July. One of the more experienced ones but needs to show improvement.

Anjaal filly. Related to a winner in the Czech Republic but stable rarely win with newcomers and pedigree overall offers little appeal.

Intruiging pedigree. Defied stable third-string status on debut in 7f Galway maiden but was well-held by promising stable companion. Will appreciate further over time and looks to be the main hope on jockey bookings. Respected.

Galileo filly. Dam was a two-time Listed winner over 6f and is related to 1m1f winner Easter and useful 1m performer El Greco. One of interest on debut.

Homebred. Sea The Stars filly out of a mare who won the Group 2 Debutante Stakes as a juvenile who also performed well at 1m. Top class pedigree on paper and dangerous to ignore on debut.

Cost €170,000 as a yearling. Golden Horn filly who is a half-sister to multiple winners to smart performers Steeler (1m) and 2016 Lincoln winner Secret Brief. Of interest but likely to appreciate further over time.

Made eye-catching progress over an inadequate trip to stay on for fourth at the Curragh (6f, good) on Irish Oaks weekend. Entitled to strip better over this distance and holds a Group 1 entry. Shortlisted.

€100,000 yearling. Dam was a 6f winner as a juvenile and is a half-sister to the high-class Dutch Art. Speedy pedigree a slight concern but respected nonetheless.

18:00 Leopardstown - 15 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An above standard maiden with plenty of regally-bred juveniles, this looks a good opportunity for TASALKA to shed her maiden tag at the second attempt. Dermot Weld's filly was the horse to take out of her race given her strong finish. The step-up to the intermediate trip and her top-level entry suggests she is held in high regard. Mythic shaped well on debut but her pedigree and the nature of her finish suggests she will perform better over further while it would be dangerous to ignore the newcomer duo of Peaceful and Ridenza.
