11/2
Without a win in 12 attempts for Mick Appleby after joining from Dan Skelton (was campaigned over hurdles); has eased 20lb in the weights since the turn of the year.

Mac O'Polop143

17-race maiden; ran his 'best' race for current connections when fourth (50-1) at Wolverhampton (1m4f) in March; absent since, drops into a seller and that's disconcerting.

24-race maiden; often placed (AW and turf); beaten a head by Blyton Lass in a Class 6 selling handicap at Thirsk in June (1m, good to firm); stays this trip on Fibresand.

Without a win since June 2017; soundly beaten in claiming and selling company at Redcar (1m2f) on his last couple of starts.

7/4
Off the mark at the 26th attempt when holding on gamely towards the finish in an identical C&D selling handicap (good) 16 days ago; ultra-consistent earlier in 2019 (323233) and that counts for plenty at this level.

Roser Moterp17
Age: 4|  Weight: 8-12| J: Theodore Ladd(5)| T: M Appleby| OR:  46| D
50/1
Has had plenty of trainers during her racing career, moving onto Dan Skelton (hurdles) after winning on the AW for Eve Johnson Houghton; 0-5 for Mick Appleby; as unappealing as her stablemate Ezanak.

13-race maiden; formerly with Ruth Carr; debuts for first season trainer Phil Makin sporting newly applied cheekpieces; less exposed than some so worth a cautious market check.

29-race maiden who regularly takes up rear-division finishing positions at sizeable odds; couldn't be recommended and safely overlooked.

Kalayab112
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: A Mullen| T: A Watson| OR:  55
9/1
Prominent racer; hasn't really been seeing out her races over further (1m6f); drops back in trip in first-time blinkers in a desperately weak race; given her trainers fine reputation this lightly raced filly (0-6) at least enters the thinking.

Big Ianp114
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-6| J: P Hanagan| T: A E Jones| OR:  50
16/1
With Richard Hannon as a juvenile; has shown little worthwhile form in two starts for this trainer in 2019; cheekpieces applied as he tackles a new trip (stamina doubtful).

15:00 Beverley - 15 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A very modest Class 6 selling handicap in which identifying a selection is tricky with a plethora of under-performing horses. Siyahamba earned reward for his consistency when gamely off the mark here on his 26th career start. He ought to figure on any shortlist along with the fairly lightly raced Archie Watson-trained filly Kalaya and the 2018 race winner Flower Power. However, sporting first-time blinkers we'll take a chance on TABOU BEACH BOY. He has shown some reasonable low level form for Mick Easterby and ran well (fourth) on debut for Oliver Greenall at Windsor on Sunday. He has the assistance of the talented 3lb claimer Sean Davis in the saddle.
  1. Tabou Beach Boy
