Well-beaten when making debut at Galway (7f; good) last month. This isn't any easier and he is best watched until entering the handicap sphere.

Showed a good chunk of improvement from debut effort to run a talented Ballydoyle inmate close at Naas (6f; good) recently. Step up in trip should prove no inconvenience and he is without doubt the pick of the runners with experience.

Only 10th of 16 on debut at Naas (6f; good) last month. Now steps up 2f in trip and is likely to improve, but will need to if he wants to feature. Others have more pressing claims.

Didn't show masses on debut when seventh of eight at Naas (7f; good). Steps up in trip now, and experience on his side, but this is an equally tough race. Needs to have improved by some way to get involved.

One of a trio of runners in this contest for Ballydoyle. By Galileo. Seems to be second-string on jockey bookings, but he is greatly respected. Full-brother to connections' French 2000gns/Sussex Stakes winner The Gurkha. Major player on debut.

Looks the lesser fancied one of the yards three representatives. Son of Galileo. Made 150,000gns as a yearling. Is related to the smart Almania who won as a two-year-old.

By Galileo. Cost a whopping 3,400,000gns as a yearling. Full-brother to the very talented Ballydoyle trio of Japan, Secret Gesture and Sir Isaac Newton. Tremendously exciting sort on paper, and he could well get his career off to the perfect start.

By Epaulette. Made €7,500 as a yearling. Gelded ahead of his debut. Half-brother to a couple of winners, but this is a strong race to start off in.

Gleneagles colt. Half-brother to Tirmizi who was a winner over 1m on these shores. Respected, but powerful stable are still 0-17 with their two-year-old runners this year.

Took backwards step from promising debut when only managing to beat one rival in a 10-runner affair at Galway (7f; good). Steps up in trip again. Hard to recommend.

Aidan O'Brien runs three in this contest, but it is extremely hard to get away from the claims of his MOGUL who fetched a mouth-watering 3,400,000gns as a yearling. The son of Galileo is a full brother to the yards Japan who won the Vertem Futurity Trophy as a two-year-old and has also won the King Edward VII at Royal Ascot & Grand Prix De Paris this season. He can make the perfect start to his racing career. Ballydoyle may also have the runner-up too, as Louisiana is equally well-bred being a full-brother to The Gurkha who was a dual Group One winner for connections. Of those with experience, Geometrical showed significant improvement from debut to go close last time.
