1
Horse silk
66/1
Cost €7,200 as a three-year-old, the first foal of a modest 1m1f winner. Well beaten in a couple of maiden hurdle starts to date and unlikely to be making a significant impact switching to bumpers in first time tongue strap.
2
Horse silk
25/1
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Gulland mare. Cost €15,000 as a three-year-old. Point-to-point winner when last seen in April and market likely to be the best guide on rules debut.

Horse silk
Going Solo197
Age: 5|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr N Gault(7)| T: W J Bryson
25/1
Gelding by Aizavoski out of an Old Vic mare. Dam unplaced in bumpers. Half-brother to point-to-point/bumper winner Grand Invasion. Unlikely to be troubling the judge on debut.
4
Horse silk
66/1
€5,000 Shantou gelding, half-brother to winners on Flat and over hurdles. Nothing of note in a couple of maiden hurdle starts to date and not one to place a great deal of faith in on bumper introduction.

Horse silk
Soldiers Hillt13
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-9| J: Mr J J Codd| T: G Elliott
9/10
Gelding by Mustameet. Cost €10,000 as a yearling. Dam bumper/2m4f and 3m hurdle winner. Plenty to like about his first two bumper starts at Ballinrobe and when finishing third of 13 beaten 4½L at the Galway festival last month. Leading player.
Broke her maiden at the 11th time of asking in point-to-points when winning on yielding-to-soft ground before finishing eighth of 13 beaten 14L on bumper debut at Sligo when last seen in August 2018. Hard to recommend on return to action.
7
Horse silk
12/1
Daughter of Shantou out of a Classic Cliche mare. Dam point-to-point/3m hurdle/3m1f chase winner. No impression on leaders on bumper debut at the Galway festival finishing a moderate sixth of 14 beaten 13L. No surprise to witness improvement.
8
Horse silk
12/1
Daughter of Mahler out of a Zaffaran mare. Half-sister to 2m5f hurdle winner What A Jewel and point-to-point victor, Zaffaran Rain. Fifth of 10 beaten 22L on debut in a bumper here at this venue in June and unlikely to be involved in the finish here
9
Horse silk
50/1
Daughter of Westerner out of an Old Vic mare. Sister to bumper/2m hurdle winner Way Out West. Plenty of questions to answer for Co Down yard without a bumper winner in five years.
10
Horse silk
4/1
Daughter of Yeats out of a Kenmare mare. Sister to winners Who's My Jockey and 2m2f - 3m hurdler, Blixt. Will need to improve on disappointing effort on debut in a Fairyhouse bumper when last seen in April.
Filly by Campaign Swing out of a Rossini mare. Inexpensive €500 as a yearling. Dam won over 6f on the AW. Unlikely to be a good sign the filly has cheekpieces fitted on debut run.
Point-to-point winner on second start. First foal of fair 2m hurdle winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Last Goodbye. Failed to quicken on debut over 2f when finishing fourth of eight beaten 7½L in a Limerick bumper last month.
13
Horse silk
33/1
Daughter of Stowaway out of a Milan mare. Dam won over hurdles at 2m. From the family of top staying chaser, Marlborough. Ran green on debut in a Down Royal bumper in June before finishing a modest sixth of 12 beaten 20L. Others preferred.

17:00 Downpatrick - 11 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Plenty to like about the first two bumper starts of SOLDIERS HILL at Ballinrobe and when finishing third of 13 beaten 4½L at the Galway festival last month. The four-year-old for the trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd can take the closing race to the detriment of the returning Wendy Howell for the Willie Mullins yard and Liz Doyle's Presenting Ana who was keeping on well at Limerick last month.
