Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: N P Madden| T: A A Howard
66/1
Sent off at odds of 100/1 on both beginner chase starts to date, running well below required standard on each occasion to be taken seriously in this contest.

Eamon Hight122
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Rachael Blackmore| T: H De Bromhead| BF| D
6/5
Caught the eye running well in defeat on both of his chase starts to date, both at Kilbeggan, more recently over 2m6f last month running Westland Row to 5¼L on yielding ground. Merits plenty of respect with first-time tongue strap fitted.
4
Horse silk
20/1
Generally well held when making no impression in a couple of starts over the larger obstacles last month including a 25L defeat at the Galway festival. Hard to recommend on recent evidence.
5

Our Lucas120
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: Sean O'Keeffe(7)| T: P M Cloke
20/1
Lightly raced in the last 12 months following a start each for trainers Iain Jardine and Ian Duncan. Best watched on return to his original yard of three years ago.
6
Horse silk
14/1
First three starts over the larger obstacles have not gone to plan including pulling up on his latest start at Tipperary following a number of errors. Out of sorts and difficult to make a case for.
7

Pistol Shoot91
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D F O'Regan| T: G Elliott| OR:  96
12/1
Sole start over fences came in a Bangor-On-Dee handicap novices chase over 12 months ago running over 3m for trainer Nicky Martin. Winner of his last three point-to-point starts the gelding can be a major player on debut for leading yard.
8

The Mulcare Roverv9
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr A Murphy(7)| T: Mrs D A Love| OR:  102| D
20/1
Experienced eight-race maiden over the larger obstacles. The gelding has out of luck in a number of recent runs bumping in to a couple of handy sorts on the way. Liable to find two or three stronger again.
9
Horse silk
Tourboy22
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: I J McCarthy| T: M Fahey
25/1
Decent 121-rated handicap hurdler, though has appeared to lose all semblance of form in the last 12 months including falling when in rear on chasing introduction at Kilbeggan last month. Others have more scope for improvement.
10
Horse silk
Humm Baby25
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: Darragh O'Keeffe(5)| T: M Hourigan| D
10/3
Solid 122-rated handicap hurdler, winner of three of her 14 starts over timber. Market likely to be the best clue to expectations on chasing debut.

Make My Heart Flyt9
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G Elliott| OR:  100| D
9/2
Has returned to fences with plenty of zip running well in defeat at Tipperary last month before finishing third of six to Wicklow Brave at the Galway festival earlier this month. Repeat of that effort should see her in the hunt for more prize money.
12
Horse silk
Pilbara20
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-1| J: Brian Hayes| T: E Mullins
66/1
Three-race maiden hurdler ran in rear when never in contention on chasing debut at Tipperary last month. Probably best watched with others holding stronger claims.

19:35 Kilbeggan - 10 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The Henry De Bromhead-trained EAMON HIGH can get off the mark over fences at the third time of asking for connections building on a couple of encouraging starts at Kilbeggan in recent weeks. The Westerner gelding can get the better of the solid and consistent Make My Heart Fly for trainer Gordon Elliott and potential improver, City Hall on chasing debut, one of three in the line-up for owner J P McManus.
  1. Eamon High
  2. Make My Heart Fly
  3. City Hall
