One of the more experienced in the field (0-8) the cheekpieces dispensed with last time return here. Showed a return to form last time appearing to be suited by the 7f but is effective at this distance; chance judged on his last two starts.

Failed to make any progress on her first start for this yard over 6f last time (wore first-time cheekpieces) still looking an awkward/quirky sort. Yard very good with sprinters but may have their work cut out with this one; races off the pace.

Tried in blinkers on three occasions (appeared to only work on first occasion); now switches to cheekpieces with the last three races failing to inspire. Now down to a career-low mark but hard to muster much enthusiasm for his chance.

Appeared to take a step forward when making handicap/Polytrack debut over 1m in January (third run for this yard); hard to find anything to enthuse about since in four starts. Offered little in her one previous 6f attempt; same story here.

Poor maiden who has offered little in his two handicaps starts so far (badly hampered on first try in this sphere). Now returns from a fair absence after showing nothing on Fibresand last time he was seen; makes limited appeal.

Ran badly over C&D last time when making her handicap debut having only shown poor form in minor events previously. Tongue-tie now applied for the first-time but hard to see where any necessary improvement will come from.

Hardly an event to be strapping on the betting boots with the majority of the field having a question mark or two hanging over them. GLOBAL HOPE probably has less negatives than most having managed some decent placed efforts in better company of late and this looks an ideal opportunity for him to open his account. George Thomas rates the main danger mainly because this will be his handicap debut and that gives him more chance than the maiden/novice events he’s been running in. Praxedis is with a stable that do well with sprinters and although she doesn’t look the easiest ride, she may have enough in her locker to take the minor place with it being difficult to enthuse over the others.
