Won over 6f on debut here in September 2017 but has generally been poor since. Shaped well for a long way before fading to finish third in 1m handicap at this track on latest start. Tumbling down the handicap but a bit to prove off top weight.
Previous C&D winner. Returned to form with gritty success in 1m Pontefract handicap on penultimate start before failing to stay 1m2f at Beverley last time. Remains 3lb above her last winning mark and slight improvement needed.
Made perfect start to life in handicap with impressive success at Beverley two starts ago (7f) but failed to fire off top weight at that track (1m, good to firm) last time. Needs to prove she stays this trip and remains high in the weights.
Runner-up on first four starts but has failed to make her mark in handicap company yet. 11L fifth in 1m Nottingham handicap after wind surgery and has a bit to prove now. Others preferred.
Beginning to get her act together on the track now. Opened her account at Carlisle (7f, good to soft) in June and ran fine races at Doncaster and Nottingham before 4L success in 7f Chester handicap. Stiff mile may not suit but respected.
Slightly inconsistent since Ayr victory in October but ran with some credit in last two starts, including when 4L fourth in extended 1m Hamilton handicap last month. Drop back to this trip is a plus and has place credentials.
Winner of this race last year but has been out sorts this season. Recent 17L last in 1m Hamilton handicap suggests she's not in the best form and others make more appeal.
Failed to progress since Thirsk victory on debut and her 6L eighth in 1m York handicap suggests that she has a lot on her plate, despite receiving weight all round.

LADY ALAVESA has failed to fire over middle distances this season but had previously shown a good level of consistency in these type of handicaps over this distance during the winter and could be dangerous to ignore off a 4lb lower mark for her new trainer. The same can be said for Miss Sheridan, especially with the nature of her Pontefract success two starts ago, but she might be in the grip of the handicapper. The victories of Classic Charm and Arletta Star last time were noteworthy (despite being on speed-emphasised tracks) and will go close if replicating that form.
