Has won a couple this season (both at Brighton) but her form is patchy, to say the least, and her last couple of efforts have left plenty to be desired. Given her nature, could easily bounce back, but she's clearly risky.

Long time since she's been seen on the Flat, has won over hurdles this spring at Huntingdon (a decent piece of form for the grade) but below par when last out and that only highlights her inconsistency. Not one for the mortgage.

Has been in cracking form this year, winning here in June and runner-up on both other starts. The question mark is this trip, which she's yet to try, and on breeding she might struggle to get it. Likes to front run too.

Easy winner when making all over C&D here two starts back and a slow start didn't help her cause at Leicester last time, so maybe that's best forgiven. Still unexposed and clear chances of bouncing back under conditions that suit.

Winner over a mile here in May but some very moderate efforts since then and she didn't appear to get this trip when tried over it on her latest start. Cheekpieces given a go but they look more in hope than anything.

Did it nicely at Chepstow last time, always on top in the latter stages for a comfortable length win. Up 4lb, which is fair, conditions fine again and now she's got her head in front, may well be able to follow up. Looks a player.

Over a year since she got her head in front but has her plus points, now on a good mark and has some C&D form as well. Yet to catch fire this season but isn't to be written off in a moderate contest.

Soundly beaten at big prices in most of her recent starts and continued in that vein on Saturday night at Lingfield. No realistic chance here.

Little to recommend her so far but hinted at ability last time out, staying on late to finish midfield over C&D. Yard going well now, and she may simply be a slow learner, so any market support for her needs noting strongly.

Forecasts

Trelinney (11/8), Perfect Grace (3/1), Ramatuelle (7/2), Princess Way (10/1), Delirium (14/1), Couldn't Could She (18/1), Kiruna Peak (25/1), Brockagh Cailin (33/1), Valentine Mist (100/1)

The one that could totally upset the applecart here is RAMATUELLE, who has little form to go on but her trainer is well known for getting these sorts to progress, and the fact she holds a stack of entries over the weekend suggests connections are looking to turn her out quickly if she wins here and rack up a sequence in quick time. In a weak race she's worth a try. Trelinney and Perfect Grace look like the ones to take advantage if the selection falls short, as both are improving 3yos with conditions to suit. Princess Way will make this a true test but she could be reaching for the oxygen tanks late on.
  1. Ramatuelle
  2. Trelinney
  3. Perfect Grace
